This Italian-inspired focaccia sandwich takes the classic Caprese flavors up a notch with Italian dry salami! 🇮🇹🔥 Made with my homemade rosemary focaccia, this sandwich is layered with sundried tomato pesto, fresh mozzarella, arugula, tomatoes, balsamic, and lots of salami—a perfect balance of fresh and savory flavors!

🔥 Ingredients:
✔️ Sundried tomato pesto (or substitute with basil pesto!)
✔️ Arugula
✔️ Fresh mozzarella (8 oz)
✔️ Olive oil
✔️ Italian herb grinder mix
✔️ Tomato slices (1 large)
✔️ Balsamic vinegar
✔️ Salt
✔️ Italian dry salami (24 slices)
✔️ Olive oil (for finishing)
✔️ Homemade rosemary focaccia (1/2 loaf)

🍽 How to Make It:
1️⃣ Slice the focaccia in half.
2️⃣ Spread sundried tomato pesto on both sides of the bread (or use basil pesto).
3️⃣ Add fresh mozzarella, drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle with Italian herbs.
4️⃣ Add tomato slices, drizzle with balsamic vinegar, and sprinkle with salt.
5️⃣ Layer on Italian dry salami for a rich, savory kick.
6️⃣ Top with arugula and finish with a final drizzle of olive oil.
7️⃣ Place the top layer of focaccia on and press slightly.
8️⃣ Slice into 4 pieces and serve! 😍🔥
