Don’t forget, if you’ve been working your ass off, and request some time off to visit with family months in advance, management will deny your PTO at the last minute because although your infinitely replaceable, they just really need you that week. Kitchen jobs can be rough, but corporate kitchen jobs will absolutely bend you over if they can.
