I asked my friend (a self-taught homebaker) if she could bake a cake for my mom’s birthday and asked if she’d want to try this kind of decor. She’s super talented and has nailed the vintage cake trend, so she’s excited to try! However we’re both really stumped on what piping tip might be used for the columns? Does anyone have any suggestions? At first I thought it could be a very narrow basketweave but it looks like one seamless piece.
Any suggestions or recs for the columns and/or the leaves/petals would be super helpful!! TYIA!

It looks like a shell tip, maybe a 6B or even 4B
This cake is so perfect, it doesn’t look real. Absolutely gorgeous!!💕
Those columns. Maybe make them on a flat surface, let set a a bit, cut off top on angle, then attach to cake with more icing.
This is such delicate work. Good luck!!!
It’s a large open star tip. Pipe it on a flat surface, freeze it, then use a hot knife to make clean edges on the top and bottom.
This cake is bonkers gorgeous, good luck
