I’ll be honest this was all improv from what I had in my refrigerator. The technique is the typical beef stew type, Sear, soften onions, stew on low lmao
The ingredients are
(To season the lamb before searing) turmeric
Berbere Ethiopian inspired seasonal blend
salt,
fresh ground pepper,
(For the stew)
Veg oil for searing
ginger/garlic paste
1 cinnamon stick
3 bay leaves
3/4 a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon it’s a 750 mL bottle
About a half cup of chicken broth mix mixed with three bouillon cubes beef.
one large can of crushed tomatoes
1 1/2 onions depending on the onion size. Mine were small onion
whole small head of garlic
3bay leaves
3 small potatoes
3 medium carrots
About 2tblsp of worchestire
1 tablespoons of Dijon mustard
I got the lamb shoulder from Costco with a whole lamb shoulder. I broke down honestly I just cut off the fat cap.
