And yes yes yes it’s safe I promise. Got a beautiful fresh side of farmed salmon from costco. Passed the smell test with flying colors. Cured in salt and sugar for about 40 minutes. Absolute perfection. I had been wanting to do this for a while and I got lucky my friend could take me to costco.

For a second, I thought you were making salmon jerky in a dehydrator.
    Looks yummy!

    Gorgeous!

So all you do is salt/sugar for 40 minutes?

Is it a 50/50 blend? How much do you put on… and how did you wash it off?

Beautiful, I’ve been using the Costco salmon for sashimi and sushi for 4 years now and it’s been my favorite thing. Prices have gone up so much, used to be $25 but now it’s around $40 in just a few years, enjoy every little bit!

I get Costco Atlantic farmed salmon all the time for nigiri, sashimi, rolls and even poke! It’s so good and honestly great in terms of affordability. Plus there’s no hmart in the UK. 😢
