Personally too much rice to fish ratio for me, but looks better than the previous one.

Glad they got a second chance! Nice assortment, more tightly rolled, rolls look nice. Salmon look tasty. (perhaps a bit too much rice?) But no doubt about it, free? I am so vanishing that. Nice, and thanks.

Idk what the last post was but that is soooo much rice. The top left plate has pieces that are 95% rice.

Still too much rice, still too many deep-fried rolls, but I’ll be damned if I wouldn’t devour the whole thing anyway!

This is somehow worse than your last post.

I feel like this was bought either from a Chinese restaurant or from the grocery store, because these are definitely made by someone who maybe watched a few videos or took a class and was like yeah that’s good. But, honestly, sushi is sushi it all tastes pretty similar no matter how it looks. 😂

Looks like what I get at kroger but that’s not a bad thing, still tasty

I love sushi, but I don’t know if I’d eat any of that at all.

Bem-vindo de volta! Mais sushi não autorizado também 😘Fico feliz por teres um bom sentido de humor. Agora diz-nos onde vives para que eles tenham contexto para o sushi ter este aspeto.

Looks better but it’s still too much rice imo. Is he making these himself or are you guys eating at a restaurant? If it’s the latter, find a different place 🤣

Try a higher variety of fresh fish to learn your favorites and expand your tastes. Yellowtail makes a great fresh bite and is often paired with citrus and mild spices. Swordfish has a meat like texture, isn’t fishy, and is mild and slightly sweet. Great for sushi or sashimi if you want a meaty “bite”.

What country are you from? The Japanese food might not be very good there LOL I’m trying to be empathetic to this mess

I guess the salmon at the bottom looks ok

Would eat them, 10/10.

What my boss said when I showed it to her: “Why are they hiding the fish?”
I tend to agree with her; good sushi is supposed to highlight the fish and make it look delicious. As many people have mentioned, there’s too much rice compared to the fish slices, like a soft drink which is just ice and only a single gulp of drink.
Also, not really a fan of putting (what I assume is) soy sauce over everything. Usually you dip the sushi in your own separate soy sauce plate as you eat..
The nigiri near the bottom of the picture looks better, but either the type of rice, or the way the rice was cooked doesn’t really fit sushi.
_THAT BEING SAID_ as long as the people who eat it enjoy it, it really doesn’t matter if it’s “inauthentic”.
