Anyone here grown Rebel Starfighter Prime? I’m growing seedlings of 6 different tomato varieties (RSFP, green zebra, black cherry, sun gold, black Krim, and san Marzano). Planted in the same medium. Recently up potted from peat cells to 9oz cups. Same water schedule. They’re all growing well (different growth rates, but even across board for the variety). Except the RSFP is looking odd. I’ve never grown oxhearts before, so not sure if this is normal. But they all looks like this- way smaller less leaf growth.,… is something wrong, or are they ok?

That’s the way they are. They have finer leaves than the others.
Hi OP, I’ve got an unrelated question for you if you don’t mind. The underside of my young tomato leaves sometimes turns a dark purple, and I noticed yours are the same colour. When I looked into it before all I could find was that maybe my lights were too close so I moved them further away. Just wondering if you know what causes that purple colour, is it light too close? Not close enough? Is there another reason for it, and is it cause for concern? (Sorry I guess that was more than one question!)
Much wispier than other tomatoes. Totally normal
I’ve grew them last year and they didn’t seem like very robust plants overall. Very sparse and lanky. I’m not growing them again.
Oh these bastards are my white whale, been fighting them for 3 years before I figured it out. Yours looked exactly like mine, the issue is Edema where the plant is taking up more water than it loses through transpiration. This can be from overwatering, uneven watering (letting the soil get too dry and then soaking them), excess humidity and/or a combination. Keep the soil consistently lightly moist but don’t let it get overdry or water heavily. Be really careful with bottom watering if that’s what you’re doing which it kind of looks like, this was another reason mine were doing it, they would get too dry and then chug up from the bottom watering. GET FANS ON! You need the air blowing to move that moist air away so the plant can let off the moisture buildup, this is super important. Once that stem gets pinched off it’s a gonner but I’ve had some plants lose almost all their leaves and still bounce back. It’s normal for this variety to be a wispy plant so my guess is plants with this kind of stem/leaf are just more susceptible because they’re thinner.
