It was amazing, but HEAVY!

Into the crockpot:
-drizzle of olive oil
-2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
-1 bottle of Olive Garden Italian dressing
-Shredded parm (I used half a block of the good stuff)
-1 block of cream cheese
-1 shallot, thinly sliced
-4 garlic cloves, minced
-1 tbsp of Better Than Bullion (roast chicken flavor)
-splash of water
-salt, pepper, and red pepper flake

Cook that on high for 4 hours.

After 4 hours, shred the chicken and stir well.

Then add 1 pound of cooked pasta, half a cup of the pasta cooking water, and more shredded parm. Mix all together.

Serve with a fresh squeeze of lemon over the top. (I bought fresh dill too but forgot to use it)

I worked at Olive Garden back in 2010. The food they make is so simple to prepare that when someone orders the server would have to plug in how long they’d want the order to be held before it actually popped up in the kitchen for them to make. I love the idea of it being “slow cooked.”
