It’s the best for the price, people seem to ignore that.
theamathamhour
It’s okay.
I am another one of those that hate their fries, it honestly puts me off from eating as frequently there.
GFMan82
If you get the fries well done or light well (I prefer light well personally) they are much better.
IntroductionKindly70
In-n-Out are the best and always will be!!!
disposable_sounds
Don’t worry, they’d rather spend 14 dollars on a single burger because it’s trendy.
Look In N Out may not be the superior burger or even some Gucci-tier burger but God damn it, sometimes you need just an honest burger that is just the basics. And In N Out will always reign supreme as one of the best cheese burgers for the working person!
In N Out is definitely S+ tier to me!
ericonly
Those fries look like barf.
EverythingButTheURL
Burgers are great. The fries suck.
Livid_Parsnip6190
I bet those fries are limp and ice cold
Ok-Cryptographer8322
There are better burgers
McSteezy
Worst fries in LA. A burger place needs to also have solid fries to be good. You can’t pay me to eat these.
Burgers are great, can’t say the same for the fries…. Whether it’s light well, well done whatever 10th variation people have told me to get.
QuestionNAnswer
I mean sure it’s okay. I don’t think it’s the best but it’s solid and predictable. It’s the lines and characters in the store that make it a subpar experience.
BigRyanG
Getting animal style, with raw onion AND whole grilled onion changed my life
flip6threeh0le
I’ll die on this hill: It’s not the best burger. But it’s the best, most consistent, most accessible burger. That venn diagram accounts for its popularity
ctmfg56
It’s so blasé. I’d rather save my money and make a tuna sandwich at home.
DustyVinegar
The burgers are fine. The fries are trash.
Lemonhead5522
I’ll die on the hill, but the fries are meh even if you get animal style or cheese
ianawood
Fries less than mid.
ChingueMami
I just enjoy their burgers . Their fries , even animal style is like meh for me. Hard to find a place with goood fries and onion rings.
Trulyunlucky1
Those fries are dogshit
printerdsw1968
The other thing that makes In-n-Out burgers so good for the price is the freshness of the lettuce, tomato, and onion. The lettuce and onion do what they are supposed to do: add a fresh crunch to complement the fat of beef and cheese. So many places somehow can’t get that part right. But In-n-Out is super consistent on that front.
aliceandpeaches
I don’t usually like onions and tomato on my burger and these burgers require it otherwise it’s very meh

Fries not worth the kcals
davitjan1525
I like their burgers. Not a fan of their fries. Animal style or not.

I’ve never been more sure that something is an acquired taste than I am with In-N-Out. Being from out of state and having done undergrad here, left for grad school, then moved back for real, I spent a lot of time around mixes of people who were both from here and not from here. I never understood why people seemed so into it, so I started asking (probably too often, tbh). And EVERY single time, the people who loved In N Out…were from California and grew up with it. The people who were indifferent, didn’t like it, or thought it was just fine…were not from California and didn’t grow up with it. Like lots of things – though maybe not often with as much hostility as this subject – it’s just not that good unless you grew up eating it.
Silly-Armadillo3358
Burgers are fine……the fries…….those are cardboard strips.
briandt75
Lived in Hollywood for 23 years. Still don’t understand the hype. Its a cheap burger. That’s about it. 🤷♂️

I might be crucified for this, bc this is a very pro In n Out crowd, but as a person born and raised in LA, I’ve always been partial to Fatburger. Not what it was, but I’d still take it if given the choice. And please don’t tell me it’s a trendy burger. I will say it’s pricing has gotten insane and won’t argue that InO is tasty, especially for the price, but I still prefer Fatburger as the best local chain burger.
Primary_Elk5223
It’s not Mid. It’s a good burger. But it’s definitely not a god tier burger like people like to say it is. It’s a solid 8.5/10 for me. The fries for me are a let down. When I was younger they used to be my favorite. Now idk if they changed the way they fry them or what, but they are just not that great.
sro520
Fries are trash but burger fair for the price
West-Distribution308
Leave the fries take the burger
crab_chips
I don’t understand how the fries don’t taste like packing peanuts to y’all
ITGuy7337
I enjoy their burgers, but also not enough to wait in a line of 20 cars.
Also their fries are just sad.
elee17
Burgers for sure but fry for fry you can’t convince me that in-n-out is better than McDonald’s
WheelJack83
Not as good as Whataburger but pretty darn good
citrus_lilac
I’m sorry but the fries are garbage.
virtualuman
Fat Burger XXL or XXXL w/ grilled onions, Thousand Island, k/m, relish, the works, has replaced my in&out 3×3 burgers. It’s a bit more expensive, but it’s got so much more flavor. It also just sits better after eating it for some reason, even though it is 1.5lbs vs. whatever a 3×3 is, and honestly, I don’t get why bit it’s less filling, and I don’t feel as uncomfortably full as I do with in n out.
Also, I was a die-hard fan before I gave Fat Burger a chance. I had to say this because others would say Fat Burger is better, and I’d laugh and say Yeah right, but now I need to eat my words!
skallywag126
The fries are incredibly mid.
mobiuscydonia
Regarding the fries. Definitely not mid. Downright awful and inedible. I’ll never understand people who think in our fries are acceptable. The burger is aight, but only when factoring in price. It can’t hold it’s own otherwise. Probably the most overrated thing of all time, maybe.
pappyvanwinkleGTS
The burger is fine, the fries are straight up ASS.
Lincoln624
Mid has to sit somewhere.
It’s better than most other fast food and nowhere near as good as quality handmade at a local burger joint. That’s kinda the definition of mid.
powertrip00
In n out burgers are honestly the goat. I shall not deny that.
But the fries…. Without all the actually good toppings they’re just awful.

Guess which fries were ranked dead last
I’ve moved on to Storm Burger. Shorter line, too.
