Recently I got tomatoes (specifically early girl tomatoes) and I was doing fine the first couple days, learning the parts of a tomato plant, pruning in accordance to what I was looking for. Then I decided to put my tomato plant (I named her ruby) up on a pillar of sorts in my backyard. And, if it isn’t the consequences of my actions, there was a particular windy day and she got knocked over. When I got home I found this and tried to save what ever I could, specifically the flowers and the sun leafs, a couple suckers got damaged which is fine because I was planning to cut those anyway.

Really long story short, can the main stem of an early girl tomato plant heal it self or do i need to prune it?

That pot looks like it could be too small. If you keep it in it you will need to water with fertilizer frequently. But if you can you should up pot to at least a 5 gallon but preferably 10 gallon or even larger to get the best results. Grow bags are cheap. Also in the ground or a raised bed.

    Your stem will heal fine.
