One secret ingredient that all the known chefs in Israel use are pickled lemon – THE MOROCCAN WAY! 🍋 (which adds a lot of taste to a variety of dishes).

Recipe (for a little jar):

Cut slices from 4 lemons (as thin as possible)

In a bowl add:
2 spoons sweet paprika
1 spoon salt
(You can also add 1 spoon of smoked paprika)

Dip the lemon slices into the paprika from both sides and fill the jar fully.

When finished put the lemon juice on top and cover it with olive oil, close it and shake it and let it sit on the counter for 3 days. (shake it every day once making sure the lemon submerged in the liquid)

After three days put the jar in the fridge and add some slices whenever needed to one of your dishes.
