My gf said I undercooked the steak, I think it’s perfect 👌🏻

Baked at 275 until 115 internal, then pan seared in tallow and garlic. One of the most tender steaks I’ve ever cooked 👌🏻

    That does look great but my fiancé is also a girly who doesn’t like a lot of pink in the middle and she wouldn’t be pleased about that. Just be aware of who you’re cooking for and their preferences.

    Nuke it, just got her. My wife was the same until I slowly fed her steak cooked like yours. Tip: buy the toughest meat and cook it just the way she wants it. When she’ll wonder, if this steak is tough to you as well? No, mine is perfect, tender and offer her a bite of yours. When she asks why that is, you know your answer OVERCOOKED steak.

    So hey OP, your steak looks great, but I think it’s time to look at it like an adult would.

    People will have different preferences. It might separate different ideas like what sanguineous fluid does in different stages of cooking and then what it does for the person eating said portion of meat.

    I prefer mine a hair more done than what you have there and I like some bit of burnt crust also caramelized by some butter or charcoal cooking.

    If you like rare, it’s perfect. I prefer medium to medium-rare so I would find it rarer than I’d like.
    Not everyone’s taste is the same.
    It’s perfect if
    You like it rare
    Or
    You can always subject it to a we bit more heat.
    You can’t uncook it. So to that extent it’s perfect.
    But I’d cook it a wee bit more

    Grab her plate , grab the ketchup outta the fridge and give it a healthy squeeze over her steak😅 it’s definitely a thing that people want it the way they want it. I know folks that only want well done no matter what the cut or quality. I wouldn’t deny them their druthers

    Do yourself a favor…focus on cooking steak the way your girlfriend likes hers made…not a bunch of dorks on a steak reddit. Looks bomb tho.

    An easy way to remedy this is to slice the way you did and put on a hot cast iron pan. It will reseal the outside and manage to keep it tender on the inside.

    I often undercook steak that I won’t eat that day so when I heat it up it’s not going from medium to well +

    It looks beautiful however personally I would probably want it just slightly more cooked usually steak that is still this pink is too chewy to me. It’s definitely rare and that’s just not everyone cup of tea.
