Stuffed mushrooms
1/2 cup Italian bread crumbs
1/2 cup cheese mix (parmigiana, fontina, asiago, provolone)
1 tbs fresh parsley
2 garlic cloves (chopped finely)
4 tbs olive oil
Squeeze of lemon juice
Pepper to taste
Mix all these ingredients together and stuff them into your cleaned mushrooms. Be sure to pack the mix into the mushrooms. Whatever is left be sure to sprinkle on top of the mushrooms. It will thicken the sauce!
Sauce:
3 tbs butter
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup chicken stock
Bake at 420F for 20-25 minutes. Serve hot out of the oven. This can also be made before hand, placed in the fridge, and baked when you need it. A great party dish!
