





Tonight I tried my hand at making spaghetti from scratch. I normally just make my own sauce and use store bought noodles but I have always wanted to try making my own noodles. And I will admit they aren’t the prettiest noodles but they sure did taste good.
Any suggestions for a newbie, would be greatly appreciated!

Toss your pasta in your sauce.
Good first try I must say! As long as you’re happy – it’s all that matters. Well done
Tagliatelle look well made. Just let the sauce in a pan, then, when cooked (maybe 30 seconds before) toss pasta in the sauce with a little cooking water (starch released by pasta in the water will make the sauce more creamy) mix thoroughly on really light fire and serve. As a result you will have pasta and sauce well mixed and with a more homogeneous taste.

Tag looks a little bouncy.
It perhaps looks a little underworked.
Knead for longer and laminate your dough toward the beginning.
As others have said, you need to finish the pasta in the sauce.

Please for the love of God tell me you mixed the pasta in the sauce up before eating it….
