No marbling in that thing at all. Looks like a slice of a kidney. I know it’s not. But you need to go give your cousin steak-picking lessons.

Get some onion soup and a crock pot, hack up an onion and a couple potatoes, and make a nice pot roast out of it. It will be delicious if cooked that way.

  2. Looks delicious to me, especially at that doneness.

I know more than a few people who say steak instead of beef. Any piece of beef is steak to them.

It looks like the chuck roast someone tried to pass off as ribeye over on r/steak earlier today.

  5. Cook it rare and slice it thin. It’ll be fine.

Gravy beef? Needs long and slow cooking in a casserole or curry.

Huh huh… not for grill no. Just dumped in a crockpot and make a stew.

Legend has it they’re still chewing that first bite.

With how lean it is it might make really nice jerky

I’ve always been curious – do blind people take an Uber or have family drive them to grab steaks?

Make a stew out of it. In a slow cooker. Thats still a fuck ton of protein.

It’s a london broil. Grill it medium rare and slice thin. Get some good bread and a lot of butter. Ate this cut all the time growing up. At least once a week. If you prepare and slice it properly, it’s not bad.

A proper souse vide will get that thing tender in 24 to 48 hours.

Question: what would happen to this steak if you used a bladed tenderizer one it, then sous vide it with beef tallow?
