A Fantastic Chef’s Table Experience in Nuremberg
A truly outstanding Chef’s Table restaurant, made even better by a chef who is not only incredibly talented but also a fantastic host.
• Price: €210
• Wine pairing: €95
I received this dining experience as a Christmas gift and, in a stroke of genius, booked it for Valentine’s Day—great timing, right?
Personal Highlights:
From start to finish, the experience was exceptional.
Amuse-bouche: The evening kicked off with a wagyu brioche amuse, an absolute flavor bomb to set the tone.
Winter salad: A beautifully composed dish featuring a variety of seasonal vegetables—some fried—paired with a flavorful dressing and a refreshing beetroot sorbet.
Second course: Steamed black cabbage with beef ham and crispy black cabbage pieces, all brought together by a rich coffee beurre blanc.
Imperial pigeon: A standout dish, served with perfectly executed pigeon ravioli.
Dessert: Buchteln—soft, fluffy yeast dumplings—simple yet incredibly delicious. Served with maple syrup and a coconut-vanilla sauce, making for a perfect, comforting finish.
A solid one-star Michelin experience that I’d highly recommend if you’re ever in Nuremberg.
