Years ago I was in Nogales (on the Mexican side) eating at a tiny restaurant and this older American couple were harassing the staff demanding, ‘Omelette! I WANT an Omelette’
They kept saying ‘Omelette’ louder and louder, and now I am imagining this is what they eventually got from the kindly staff.

These seem to be rice and boiled egg tacos. In Mexico they are sold as “tacos de guisado”. Tacos de guisado are tacos with rice and some food of choice over it

Looks like an understandably IDGAF attempt to fulfill a customer request
That is not a mexican meal lol. I have never seen egg tacos made with boiled eggs. They took the chiles right out of a can and laid them on top. We also don’t use lime on our eggs and our tortillas are heated up. They are using the triple tortillas we use for street tacos, which is where lime would be used.
