After unintentionally starting a pizza fight with my controversial opinions, here is just a list of where we went over a jam-packed four days of food in amongst sight seeing, jazz and comedy. Thanks NYC I am fully sated! 🥯🍕🍗🍜🥟☕🍸

Day 1: Blue (Amy Ruth's the night before)
Day 2: Green
Day 3: Pink
Day 4: Yellow (half a day)

  1. You def stayed in harlem by the looks of this. S/o to hand pulled noodle and mushtari!!!!!

  2. robertglasper

I don’t think you got enough cream cheese on that first bagel

Everything looks great. Your bodega was the wrong one. That bacon was awful. I hate Amy Ruth’s because they use canned beans and crap ingredients. Charles Pan Fried is better.

Think this is one of the few times I’ve seen a tourist post with consistently good spots, well done! Hope you had a great time!

  5. Thoughts? Best bite? anything not live up?

How did you like Hangawi, I’m always happy to see people going there (though it looks like you missed the porridge, which I honestly think is amazing).

solid collection of places. way better than some of the trips people post on here

Loving the trend of putting the names in places that are easily identifiable – thank you for the effort!

I should also say, shout out to Sojourner Coffee in Harlem which was consistently excellent.

I would like to see the Long Black make an appearance in US coffee shops, basically a short americano with the espresso shot on top. Much less watery and you keep the crema.

Wow, did you come here just for the food? That’s the reason I travel to foreign cities too heh – from one food traveler to another, you killed it

Omg you hit everything – the best of the best!

How was veselka? I haven’t been in 2 or 3 years but heard some grumblings that the quality has declined a bit. One of my favorite spots as a kid though.

  12. Osteria 57 is one of my favorite restaurants in the city! Lots of great choices in here

  13. is mei lai wah a pineapple bun stuffed with minced pork?

Hangawi is legit so underrated, what a unique place

This is the best “I ate in NYC” posts I’ve seen. A good variety and the right places.

  17. Jayjayth3jetplane

The cream cheese to bagel ratio is wild (also I’d eat it)

  18. LostHero50

Glad you went to Hangawi, one of my favourite spots in the city. How’s Osteria 57? I live a few blocks away and have been meaning to try it.

Los Tacos! Always delivers. I don’t know which one you went to (I still forget they have multiple locations sometimes)

Their original in the Chelsea market, has a really good sister seafood taco spot (Los Mariscos)

I apologize on behalf of NYC for that bacon egg and cheese. That looks god awful and not representative of what this great city has to offer.

I live by Amy Ruth’s. That honey dipped fried chicken is my guilty pleasure.
