Splurged for a special occasion but this bottle seemed way cheaper than what I’ve seen elsewhere ($1200).
Very light, insane balance. Fruitiness that stood out was raspberry and strawberry. My first ever DRC, I get it but for the price (even at a bargain) may not be worth it.

That price is about on par for this specific bottling. It’s all younger vines from their grand cru vineyards. Doesn’t usually have quite the intensity or concentration of their other bottlings but it is still very tasty! Congrats on your special occasion!

I believe that price is indeed a steal. Cheapest I can find online in eu is 2500+ congrats buddy!

Do you already have experience with other culty burgs that you can find closer to the mid-to-high hundreds? Such as 1ers or GCs from Roumier, Dujac, Arnoux-Lachaux, Rousseau? If so, how was the QPR here compared to your avg experience with others that are just a bit less expensive? Did it immediately stand out in some way that others haven’t?
