More than half of the country would rather eat side dishes at Thanksgiving — but what’s the most popular side dish in Massachusetts?

Campbell’s “State of the Sides Report” for 2024 found that 56% of participants prefer eating side dishes over turkey at Thanksgiving.

The top five most popular side dishes nationwide were stuffing, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, green bean casserole and mac and cheese. This list is similar to the most popular side dishes in the Bay State.
