saw this when it was posted and had to try it for myself. i see the appeal. the chocolate melts so you get the crunch of the shell first, and then a little pocket of hot sweet. the chocolate/cheese combo almost starts to cancel each other out when it's hot. you'd think you'd get the strongest flavors of each fighting each other but you kind of just… don't, and what's left is more mellow. that said, the sauce on the pizza i had was pretty overpowering with a slight kick that didn't mesh with the sweetness of the m&ms, so if i were to try it again i'd want to find one with a more boring sauce.

    Why?

I have so many insults/questions to throw, but honestly ?

    Just fucking why.

    Some strange combos work.

    This ain’t it.

Doesn’t melt in your hands but one more thing added to my encyclopedic knowledge of useless facts.

oooough you had me at hot pockets of chocolate

  5. My favorite part is where OP blames the frozen pizza’s sauce for this being nasty.

    “The sauce was pretty overpowering.”

No… no the sauce is mass produced bland-ness, the problem here is the chocolate/cheese/tomato combination. Its not going to get better, either.

  6. Chocolate and anything savoury is usually a good combination. I often eat toasted sourdough bread with Nutella and Parma ham, or any salty, dried ham. If you add a piece of Brie with it you got a yourself a winner.

Reminds me of that OG lunchables from the 90s/00s that had a cheese whiz packet and chocolate packet and M&Ms with it so you could make a zany little cheese chocolate pepperoni monstrosity

Ok dessert pizza CAN work but you need to build the whole pizza with that idea not just throwing mnms on a normal pizza. Papa Murphys has stores pizza, and it works because it uses chocolate sauce and sweet topics over randomly throwing shit on top like Hawaiian.

You’re commiting crimes against pizza and should go straight to jail.

True story : when I was a kid I would always eat those pizza lunchbales that had the little m&m packs in it. I would eat one regularly and one with m&ms over my pizza sauce and I have to say it was actually really good

We already know chocolate, baked cheese and crust go well together. I’d wager tomato sauce isn’t a bad addition.

Man shall not put chocolate on pizza, for it is an abomination
