I’ve seen people on social media doing a “delayed scoring” or in other words, waiting 5-6 minutes into the bake before doing a deep score down the middle. I decided to give it a shot and am pretty happy with the results! One thing I read that people are concerned either is losing steam when you do the delayed scoring, so I added in a few ice cubes at the same time. I’m happy with the shape and spring.

The crumb shot is a bit messy because I COULD NOT wait to cut into it hahah
