PASTA E FAGIOLI BIANCA’S RECIPE #pastaefagioli #souprecipe

Ingredients:

1 Tbsp olive oil
1/2 onion, chopped
2 celery stalks, chopped
1 – 1 1/2 cups dry Ditalini pasta
2 cans FAGIOLI beans or cannellini beans, drained and rinsed
1 cup tomato purée or more
2 cups pasta water
Salt/pepper to taste
Grated Parmesan cheese

Bring large pot of water to a boil, add salt and cook pasta for 8 minutes. Reserve 2 cups pasta water.

Meanwhile, in a Dutch oven, heat oil over medium heat, add onions and celery, sauté until tender. Add tomato purée, pasta water, salt and pepper. Simmer for half an hour, stir in beans and pasta continue to cook for 10 more minutes. Serve with grated Parmesan cheese. #soup

  2. Nice soup video! As for the weather, I totally get you! We have trees behind our property that belong to the city and one in particular makes me nervous every time there is nasty weather. Branches have already fallen and broken our fence 3 times since we've lived here.

  3. What a great soup. I love Pasta E Fagioli. Cranberry beans are wonderful. I have a hard time finding them. When I do, I usually stock on them, however I have not seen them canned, they are always dried. Beautiful video. Stay warm and safe my friend. Love y'all ❤❤❤❤

  6. Oh my that soup looks good! It’s currently snowing here in WV so that would be a perfect meal. Hope you stayed warm and had no more trees fall. 😮
