    You ever throw a bunch of green onions into an air fryer or a toaster over until they char? Did you know that toasted green onion roots are sweet? Yellow onions and white onions are also good toasted but the roots are bitter. I’ve yet to roast others but I’d like to.

    I used to prefer yellow, but lately, I have been buying almost all white onions. I guess they’re my new favorite, but they’re all great in their own way

    Though, I have a special place in my heart for Walla Walla onions. When I was little, my grandma sent walla walla’s from her garden, and we had them in our grilled cheese sandwiches. And that’s the reason why I love onions so much.

    I like them all and they all have their uses. Also, my great grandmother use to can sweet pickles with pearl onions in them. Maaaaaaannnn….. I miss those

    Depends entirely on the application. But my go-to are sweet onions and red onions for most dishes. Shallots when I want that garlic
