    Very cool. I like the washed-out reflections of the blues in the table and the hanging lamps especially. Did you take inspiration from a photo or was it imagined?

    Could I ask how you go about drawing/painting kitchens like this, do you work off photos as well as sketches beforehand to learn the lay out? I’m a chef but also draw and paint (mostly portraits) I’m wanting to start making art of my kitchen and my friends kitchen as well. you captured the movement and flow so beautifully. If you wouldn’t mind id absolutely love all and any tips!

    I really like it.

    It’s very pleasing to look at. It’s almost relaxing to the eye, if that makes sense.

    I feel like the use of the shelf places too much distance between the viewer and the kitchen, maybe?

    It creates a disconnect for me and firmly plants me as the viewer “outside” of the group. I do like your use of the reflections to break up that distance, though.

    It’s perhaps a bit somber? Makes me wonder who’s eyes I’m looking through.
