We feed the dog meat and vegetables. Trying to figure out how to freeze and store cooked sweet potatoes when I remembered an old forgotten skill. Thought I’d share with the handful of people who might know what the hell I’m talking about.

Ay man. If doing quenelles is fun to feel your roots you keep doing you. However, just wanted to share an easier method that may work. Put the mix in a freezer bag. Spread it flat in the bag on a sheet tray. Then take a bench scraper or even chop stick and push it into the mix to make a grid pattern. Like just pushing the hard edge into the bag to make lines with less mix. Once you freeze it flat you can break it up frozen in the bag along the score marks and you have the frozen chunks to pull when needed. I do this for ginger and garlic at work so it would probably for potatoe mash as well.
