Hi guys,
I found this large BGE from a local neighbor. They purchased it less than a year ago and are trying to get rid of it due to moving.
Assuming good condition, how much would you pay for it? The seller told me they never registered for warranty and could provide me with the proof of purchase. All the basic accessories (e.g., IntEGrated Nest + Handler, Wood EGG Mates, convEGGtor) are included as well.
Thank you!

About $500, looks in decent shape but a pain to move without help.
Well new, that set up is over $1600 and they last for 20 plus years. They’re a bitch to move around so it’s kinda like a used car. Price reflects how much you need to get rid of it. I’d say $1000 would be a fair deal for this. I paid $400 for one that’s 20 years old, has cracked porcelain and chipped/ missing green coating. Got birria tacos in the making on it right now. works great and i love it !
Also, because the seller hasn’t registered it yet and can provide me a proof of purchase, I can register it under my name, right? Or is that not the case?
Well, check the ceramic innards to make sure they are not broken or cracked. Warranty would take care of them if they are. There should also be a 18 in grate and metal plate or basket in the bottom. I assume not much use and you could tell that by how dark the inside is and the gasket around the bottom and top edges. As to value, it is worth what you want to pay for it. Maybe 400, 500 if you are in the US. Be careful moving it. Maybe pay for it after they get it to your place. Hahaha. Easy to topple when rolling it and not easy to put Humpty Dumpty back together again after a bad spill. Report back and let us know how it goes and certainly your first cooker too smoke on.
If you can score for $500 or less it’s a good deal. Assuming good condition.
$100
