I ate this stew at Igarashi Souko and Google lens is saying it's called motsunabe but every image under motsunabe looks so different then this one. So I was wondering if it was a specific type of motsunabe or if Google lens was just incorrect. I tried to look at the menu but the Google lens translation wasn't working too well

    Looks like “horumon” cooked in miso sauce. I see this dish quite often in Kumamoto. I think it’s called もつの味噌煮込み:Motsu no Misonikomi.

    This is definitely モツ煮 (Motsu-ni)

  3. Looks like a standard motsu nikomi, its usually pig intestine cooked in miso and ginger, this just has a big mound of negi on top.
