First time growing vegetables and flowers in my garden this year. I put together this setup with things I had laying around the house.
Are these batten lights suitable to use as grow lights?
Any tips from you experienced growers would be appreciated!

Looks good, might just put the lights closer if those are shop lights
Looks good! The seedlings are short, which is a good sign!
The second tray on the left looks like the seedlings are stretching for the light. I would move the light closer to them.

Looks like they’re getting enough light. Not leggy at all. Keep an eye out for burning leaves if you lowered the light since these looks great.
My setup is a tray and a regular lamp with an arm so I can get the light close. It’s produced enough seedlings that I’ve been able to trade/gift away about half for the past three years. Don’t underestimate the power of “good enough”. 😉
