Excuse the river of butter from the mash, she was a delight.

I like green beans, roasted Brussels sprouts, or sauteed cabbage with caraway seeds.

Also if you haven’t tried it before, swedish meatball pasta is the best, as are swedish meatball toasties with a bit of freshly grated parmesan.

My favorite side with this is pickled beets. So good!

Mange tout , sugar snap peas or purple sprouting brocolli. Cranberry jelly or similar.

    Braised red cabbage too!

    Asparagus.

Green, firm when not over cooked. A nice contrast.

Similar, but less unique. Broccoli, big cuts, again firm when not overcooked.

Would you share your recipe? Those meatballs look so juicy and I want to just roll in that gravy!

A green refreshing salad or aspargus

Green beans, peas….or if you are feeling fancy, you can roast asparagus in the oven with a drizzle of olive oil and parmesan cheese sprinkled on top. A delicious and easy way to eat asparagus.

According to IKEA, cardboard cutouts disguised as vegetable medley.

However…I think some sauteed green beans with toasted almond slivers and garlic would be excellent with this. 😁
