I got a sous vide for my birthday and tried it out for the first time last night. Filet mignon from Costco at 130° for 2-3ish hours then seared in cast iron. Really proud of this one!

    Welcome to the club!

    This is the only way that I’ll grill a steak now… sous vide (usually from frozen) for a few hours, cool in ice, throw on a ripping hot grill and enjoy.
