I’m working on a big personal bucket list project at the moment, and it’s taking me all over the world – one of the things on the list was to try wine tasting, something I’ve never done before.
We went to Bodegas Bordoy, in Mallorca, it’s a fantastic place.
We sit down in, I swear to god, the single most beautiful place I can imagine drinking wine in my life. There are rolling hills and mountains below a beautiful sunny sky, and right next to our table, the plants themselves extend far into the distance. Just look at the photo damn, it looks like an advert.
Alexandra, our tour guide, was a great storyteller, she’s bringing anecdotes left right and centre. When I asked “hey, I don’t actually know how I’m supposed to taste this wine to appreciate it”, she nods, explains, and moves on. No judgement.
Well worth it if you ever visit the island!
