really hard to find the pulled pork in this -rice bowl with pulled pork and tomatillo sauce- thats my major disappointment. otherwise i guess it was “good”

I really enjoyed the southwest-style chicken and rice bowl!

  2. I’m in Canada, tried the ready made meals for the first time last week. We got the honey butter chicken with rosemary potatoes and green beans. I thought it was decent, better than frozen dinners from the grocery store. I won’t order them all the time as I don’t mind cooking usually, but I knew we had a busy week so a day where I didn’t have to cook came in handy. I’d order them again in the same situation. There was lots of chicken in the meal, not many green beans though.

The question you should ask yourself, did I enjoy this meal?

If you did, great! Why does it ‘need’ more pork? Would adding pork make the meal taste better?

I had a similar one this week, from their free items for life options. Mine were noodles though. Mine also had low ratio of pulled pork and was only 450 calories. Luckily I only had it as a second meal cause my first meal i dropped most of it on the floor haha. The flavors were good though and much fresher then a TV dinner or similar from the store.

It was good timing. Cause i was finishing my box from last week on Monday and this was delivered on Monday.

I haven’t done one yet. Too many solid alternatives each week to go ready-made IMO.

  6. I’m not really into HF for ready made meals, so I feel like those choices are taking up space of meals I’d rather order, in my options.

I didn’t care for the aluminum pan meals we’ve tried either. Between the aluminum tray meals and the ready made dishes, there’s less and less selection for the rest of them.
