Smoked cod liver is amazing. I get mine from France, in cans. I’d eat that.

I’m not a picky eater but roe always weirded me out 😅

  3. I mean, if you don’t want it just send it my way, I’d love to try

Nahhh bro, some of us nordics actually have farmland and dont have to eat like this

Is that tuna with water and sliced tree branch?

I’d give it a taste out of curiosity, but I see no seasonings or spices floating around

  7. I used to have to have cod liver oil off me nan when I was poorly etc – if they taste anything like that I couldn’t hack it, it’s done me with fish for life, I’d love to love it but anything too fishy just takes me straight back.

  8. I’m super open to trying new things, but…. somehow, neither of these actually look like human food 😭

I really only tried the oil
    This looks… icky

i can’t imagine why she would ever end up on reddit but she does like googling my various usernames sometimes so on the off chance you see this grandma – the cod itself was lovely and it was a great meal overall, love you <3 i’m just never gonna be a liver and roe kind of norwegian unfortunately

I get canned cod liver and cod liver pate and it’s delicious. The pate is better than the plain liver, and it has the roe mixed in. It’s amazing on crackers with some cucumber.

that looks like sink water in an old pot of vomit with a side of boiled testicles….

  14. Im sure it tastes fine but it does not look good to me. Looks like cat food soup and a sliced pancreas.

  17. Cooler_coooool_boi

Oh I thought it was like smashed potatoes with mushrooms and ground beef in gravy..

No offense but this reinforces my previously held beliefs that Nordic food had EASILY the worst food culture

It looks like Tuna Purrfection…my cats’ food.
