    I used the recipe from a [post a couple of days ago](https://www.reddit.com/r/Baking/comments/d19ni9/ive_just_made_this_japanese_strawberry_shortcake/) that was way nicer than mine but I’m happy for a first attempt. Planning to make it again for my wife and daughter but apply a couple of lessons from this effort to try to improve.

    I am away from home and had no access to piping tips so it’s just a sandwich bag with the corner snipped off to produce cream blobs.
