As a lover of both that’s a difficult question.

  2. SousVideDiaper

I know we’re all onion fanatics here, but monetarily speaking, you got fleeced

  3. ReplacementNo9014

I have never ever seen BaTampte mustard. Their garlic pickles are amazing and the only pickles I will eat.

  4. MythicToaast

I would eat raw onion and wash it down with mustard

  5. DarePatient2262

I did not know that habanero ketchup was a thing, but now I really want some.

  6. TheChristianDude101

Onions are what around a dollar each? Mustard is like 4 bux, and that looks like a good brand. Not a good trade unless your desperate.

  7. tock-N-call-borture

At least for where I live, a bottle of mustard can be anywhere from 3 to 7 bucks depending on the size and brand, a red onion is about 80 cents, so no, not a good deal.

  8. haterofslimes

Ketchup on hotdogs is a massive misplay. Yes, even habanero ketchup.

  9. ronweasleisourking

If you *really* needed that onion then good deal. If you *didn’t really* need that onion then good deal

  10. escaped_id

Not a good deal financially, but onionwise I’d say you came out ahead.

Onions are great! but mustard costs more

  12. fossSellsKeys

Where do you get this habanero ketchup??? I’m a serious hot sauce lover and chile head and I want some. I generally just use Sriracha in place of ketchup in cases like sausages in a bun, but this deserves a try.

It’s a shame I couldn’t have diced that onion, it would’ve brought me much joy. May I suggest, if you really love your onions, treat them with the respect of a sharp knife

  14. Powerful-Meeting-840

Sounds like yall just eating hot dogs together and both brought supplies…

  15. OrangeBug74

Yellow mustard? Maybe bad idea financially but great idea for making a great sandwich. I’d used that onion to sliced with Muenster cheese and rye. Say hello to my hot cast iron pan with butter on both sides. Finish with a good IPA and enjoy life.

  16. Trippykirby561

Depends, did you have any extra bottle of mustard?

  17. east_van_dan

You cut your onions on a paper plate? Get yourself a goddamn cutting board man!

  18. Puffification

The problem is that this onion lasts for like one meal, depending what you use it for, and a bottle of mustard can last all year

  19. Next step is to find a cutting board that is not a paper towel on… The oven glass ?

  20. -Disagreeable-

Wait…wtf is that? Habanero Ketchup? Holy shit.
Also, I don’t want so sound like a freak or nothing but that was a sexy ass onion.

  21. If I had to choose between an onion and saving my cat, I’d 100% choose my cat. BUT I’d think about the onion for a while after. You made a solid trade.

  22. cryingovercats

Idk, how much do you like mustard? It’s just bartering.

  23. Fleeced, but one time I bought 2 onions for 7 dollars so I can’t judge (I also lost one at the market, so essentially $7 onion 😭😭😭😭)

  24. NeutralContrast

Honestly, it’s a damn good looking onion and the little you lost in money tradewise I think you’d gained tenfold by just having a silly interaction like this with your friend. I think little things like that are valuable in their own right

  25. mad-lemur

Might be controversial but this is an even exchange depending on the mustard quality

  26. No-Ad9763

What is going on, I have never traded a friend condiments or vegetables

  27. ELJohnnyo

That is a beautiful onion, always a pleasure to cut one up. Mustard is a condiment I do like but I feel the raw red onion was a solid move. In my eyes, you won!

  28. Accomplished-Set4175

OMG full stop! Is that habenero ketchup? I gotta find that!
