Hi! I am trying to find a good place for sushi and sake bombing for my husband’s birthday….we live near the east village and while we can go anywhere in manhattan, I need help for more recs in terms of ambiance.
We really don’t like nice, washed out, brightly lit places that look upscale…..yes we want good sushi, but love an ambiance that might have xmas lights on the walls or band posters/video game paraphernalia….more of the low light, casual dive aesthetic.
Sort of like this place, maybe, just looking for something more sushi-centric rather than Korean food.
