  1. I love a good pico but I will probably only ever make it for parties. It is just a lot of work

To me that’s a pico not a salsa

Edit: I am aware that it is, in fact, a salsa

I do fresh pico ingredients and run them through just a couple pulses in the food processor. It makes it so much faster, and although isn’t quite as chunky as hand chopped, it’s very good.

Definitely pico. Add a can of el pato and mash a little w potato masher and eat it the next day, then you have bomb salsa.

I have a chopper that makes pico easy. I make it all the time. Typically I’ll have a batch of pico and a roasted/blended salsa done at the same time because they take mostly the same ingredients.

Its more work but I love the bright freshness of pico de gallo. It pairs well with so many different foods as well.

This is my favorite kind of salsa and looks very similar to what my spouse makes.

Is that cucumber? Nice. Glad I’m not the only one who does that with pico. Looks really good

Pico De Gallo and a Salsa Tatemada serve different purposes. One is for snacking and the other is an ingredient or component of a dish. They’re both amazing in their own right but not one and the same.
