Picture doesn't do it justice, but this BBQ was very, very good. Enough to feed 3 grown-ass men with plenty of leftovers. Excellent experience!

Closest thing to Franklin’s that far north.

  2. I’m banned from that establishment. They gave me three blobs of fat and called them burnt ends.

I had a michellin ⭐️meal for 2 cheaper than this, that had more food, with wine…

DFW has some incredible bbq – in order to- Goldees, Cattlelack, Terry blacks, slow bone.

Pecan lodge is a tourist trap. Buccees has better bbq in my opinion.

Even if the pictures do it justice, that’s not enough food for $150. Maybe $100, tax & tips included. 150? Hell nah…

The PL beef rib is the best food item I’ve ever bought from a restaurant.

Idk if it’s declined in the last 5 years since I was there, based on the comments, but it was so fucking good then

The fat in the beef rib has coagulated at the bottom of the rib. Tells me it was sitting after being sliced for some time. No thanks for 150$

Lol! These comments are great. That meat looks like it’s been sitting in the sun for 3 hours. Sides look good. Sure the bbq is good but less than $5 of food cost in photo for $150…bruh🫤

Pecan lodge has significantly decreased over the years. Terry Blacks is right across the street and it’s much better

I could eat that by myself and I am 1 grown man.

I can’t wrap my head around how someone would pay 150 for this. This looks like a 40 dollar bbq sampler at best.
