Smoked a rack of pork ribs over some post oak, cut them into individuals, tossed in corn starch and deep fried until crispy. Tossed in Japanese bbq and finished with some sesame seeds. 10/10

I still can’t find a Japanese bbq sauce i like. Maybe I’m just not a fan in general bc I’ve tried 4 different ones.

We do this with the Thanksgiving turkey, call it smo-fried.

Wow that looks great. Spares or baby backs? How long did you smoke em? I’m gonna have to do this with my Traeger.
Never thought to fry smoked ribs! Fried in what kind of oil? Wonder how panko bread crumbs would work instead of cornstarch.
And could these be done in an air fryer? What a great idea!
