Don’t think you could have done any better, from buying it to serving it. I’m sure it was yum, yum, yummy 😋😋. I went to our local butcher two days ago and got two pounds of sirloin because it was $7.00 a lb cheaper than the ribeye. It was a pretty piece of meat and I wanted to compare it with the rib eyes I bought at Christmas. I was blown away by the flavor, juiciness and it was as tender as butter. I actually cut it in half to make two meals. We’re poor old seniors and I have to stretch food. I pan seared my portion in butter and basted it. About 2 mins per side with just S+P. Medium rare. It really was butter tender. Hubby thin sliced his and made a steak sandwich with fried onions on a brioche roll. Best he’s ever had! Next time I go it’ll be sirloin all the way. Raised right on their own farm.
