Why are they so brown? I dehydrate my home grown scorpions and they end up a nice dangerous burgundy color. I have some that are 2 years old and they aren’t brown like this. How long have these been sitting on a warehouse shelf?
Wow. I just saw the prices too. I get that many pods from one plant in a season. Just grow them.
Scorpions are slow growing and need to be overwintered indoors. Your first year will yield only a handful of peppers, but keep it alive through winter and put them back outside in spring and they will start exploding with peppers.
