Turkey tends to dry out, so it’s important to take steps to prevent that. Some people inject their turkey or use a brine, but in this case, we’re using an herbed butter. This is my go-to method whenever I make a turkey, it adds both flavor and moisture. We have Herbed butter for the win!

Here’s what to do:
– Take 1 stick of butter (at room temperature).

– Add thyme, rosemary, 1 to 2 tablespoons of olive oil, and your favorite seasonings.

– Mix everything well, then rub the mixture all over the turkey.

Adjust the amount of herbed butter based on the size of your turkey, and the rest is history.

  1. I usually put my infused butter under the turkey skin. Im DEF adding lemon thyme this year& i think i'll try brine-ing it too. I know folks who swear by their brine!
