Sister and I made some ramen for our family this weekend. We’ve done it a few times before but it’s been a case of “first time is perfect and then every subsequent try fails” especially with the noodles. (She’s tried a few times and has had difficulty, the changed to get the “springy” are just different enough from her Italian-pasta centrism that it’s created disasters the last few times we tried!)
Homemade noodles with a garlic miso “tare” and a chicken broth. Stiry-fry chicken and my shoyu eggs, topped with broccoli, sprouts, and a smoky teriyaki glaze.
Biggest problem is you can’t see the noodles under all those toppings! I definitely need bigger bowls!
