


First time ever cooking tomahawks or steaks anywhere near this thick. Turned out really well – lovely and pink inside, just how we like it. Seared both sides in a pan and then finished off in the oven. I could eat this every day!

Looks great! How were you able to sear it in the pan? I always struggle with tomahawks because the bone gets in the way. Separately – next time you cook a thick steak like this, try giving it a reverse sear. It will help deal with that little gray band you see and help cook the steaks a bit more evenly.
