Where’s the poivre? Needs to be coated. If you don’t like that, fine, but then it’s not _au poivre_. This is the amount of coarse ground pepper I have on pretty much every steak.

How are the potatoes done? What’s the garnish on top? Did you use fine ground pepper? What liquor did you use? Could be the picture but the color looks a bit off bit any change of ingredients could do that – not a judgment as I use rum for my au poivre instead if cognac
