I use that exact same air fryer for my wings, they come out perfect

  2. sniffysippy

Great wings come out of my Ninja XL. I like being able to shake the basket.

  3. proxyclams

The toaster oven is going to be more versatile, but the air fryer is going to give you the best wings easily.

  4. I know this is a wings sub, but air fryers cook steaks perfectly. But I can see the oven doing the same to both food items. Go with what’s cheaper, I guess

I reheat my Pluckers wings in an air fryer. Thats all I use it for actually. Fast, less to clean up, healthier.

  6. Air fryer. I grew up with. Toaster oven. Air fryer was something I put off buying for a long time then was gifted one. We are now on our 3rd one with it getting larger each time. We rarely even use the microwave or oven anymore.

  7. xenophobe2020

Air fryer. Easier to clean and they move air around better than any convection oven will.

  8. Scrimgali

Air fryer. Have a double sided Ninja. It’s amazing for wings. If you get an air fryer just make sure you get a big one. And being able to shake the basket is clutch!

  9. FrightWig67

Air fryer 100%! Being able to shake the basket is key.

Smoke for like 2 hrs then air fryer for like 8mins to crisp . Best wings IMO

I have a ninja that is a do it all oven. Has air fryer settings. I’ve been making wings in it recently and they’ve come out great

  12. JustinCooksStuff

I have a ninja oven like that one with an air fryer setting and it’s bad. I have a ninja air fryer like the air fryer pictured as well, it’s great.

Not having an air fryer in 2025 is crazy. It can do so many things!!! And it’s so freaking easy.

  14. I liked both, so to me can’t go wrong either way

GE actually makes a microwave that retails for less than $200 that has, in addition to microwave, functions for Air Frying, Convection, and Broiling. I love this thing. I make wings multiple times a week in it.

  16. Cheap-Insurance-1338

Air fryer!!! I made wings for the first time in mine the other day. Delicious and way less expensive.

  17. CityBoiNC

I have the ninja xl grill and it cooks wings perfectly.

  18. BourbonCat13

Chicken in general is really great in the air fryer. Much better than an oven, in my opinion.

  19. wendellbaker

I was so skeptical about getting another countertop appliance. Do it. Do it. Do it. Do it. It’s so easy, they come out so good. Do it

  20. We love our Cusinart convection oven. I’ve had wings from an air fryer [and from this ](https://www.cuisinart.com/air-fryer-toaster-oven-with-grill/TOA-70.html?frt=21&nbt=nb%3Aadwords%3Ax%3A21470027214%3A%3A&nb_adtype=pla&nb_kwd=&nb_ti=&nb_mi=8527973&nb_pc=online&nb_pi=TOA-70&nb_ppi=&nb_placement=&nb_li_ms=&nb_lp_ms=&nb_fii=&nb_ap=&nb_mt=&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAiA5pq-BhBuEiwAvkzVZc4-T2PMcA1Xd1rkeuF9N8R-vDuRt5oSL-OqSNdoSwLNjlqkpqkTGxoCHGQQAvD_BwE)and they are comparable. What I love about our oven vs. the air fryer is the amount of space the oven offers. Rotisserie chicken, 4 baked potatoes, pizza, evenly cooked tenderloin with a broil setting that can provide a crust. To each their own.

  21. pnmartini

Air fryers are handy, but not necessary.

Ninjas, though, are overpriced as they’re trying to become “the kitchen gadget company” and trading on name recognition (much like insta pot was doing)
