I’ve had this grill since the early 90’s. Paid $500 at HD and got the cast iron grates. It has moved with me a number of times. Replaced the burner tubes and still uses the quick disconnect on the propane tank. My dogs chewed the wood slates and the original igniter still works. Going to miss this one.

Refuse?
Those grills are great. No reason to get rid of.
Of course you’ll miss her. But you may find another wife one day.
Get a new wife
Any reasoning from her end behind it? Does she want a smoker? More grill space? Side burners? Infrared?
Also grill manufacturing quality over the years (like everything else?) took a nosedive as everyone wants to make things cheaper.
If it’s just change because she’s tired of looking at it then I agree with others here…. You may feel the same way about her! Hah
Had this exact grill in the 90’s as a kid growing up. Wish I could find one for the nostalgia, and honestly the performance. Would get so damn hot lol.
I have one identical to this that my dad won from snap on back in the late 90’s. My wife thinks we should get rid of it since we don’t use it but I’ll never let it go.
Buy new grill, keep old one
Do it. Get a new one. That grill has many years left in her. I guess just buy her some inexpensive flowers when you tell her.
