I got this sauce on the Heat shop! I was stuck at work for a few days, and as a token of gratitude, I was given a $100 gift card, and I spent it all on hot sauces. Better than any pay day haha. I spent most of the week watching informative documentaries on ants (don’t ask me why, it was just my fixation for the week). So, a fun fact about ants is that the ones that go out and collect food share it with the ants that stay in the community through a process called trophallaxis, which basically means they vomit the food into each other’s mouths. I’ve been considering getting an ant colony, as I have a fascination with insects in general. I have 5 tarantulas, I’ve kept scorpions, a mantis, and headlight roaches in the past. Anyway, now that you’re nice and hungry, lets get into it!
REVIEW: This is one of those sauces that shines because of brand recognition and being an agreeable sauce for people looking for their next comfort. This sauce can easily be a person’s favorite daily driver. I love supporting a local company, and was really excited to grab this one! The heat level of this is right on the dot for what I’d say is medium, which is great for adding a little for a flavor pop, or smothering whatever you’re having. This does have a particular sweetness to it, and the ingredients just say sugar, but I’m curious why is tastes the way it does. The sweetest isn’t bad by any means, but it’s also hard to describe. I read on the website that they use pickled habaneros rather than cooked or raw, so perhaps that’s why this sauce is a little more unique! The garlic flavor is great. I could go on and on, but at the end of the day, it’s a slightly sweet habanero and garlic sauce. While its simple, its memorable. I’m basically speedrunning habanero sauces, and this one is added to my “rotation” list. Rest in Peace, Spicy Prince.
Feel free to tell us your experience with this sauce, if you’ve had the Hot Honey tell us how that is, and recommend a sauce similar to this one!

My buddy got me a bottle of this for Christmas. It’s a delicious sauce. I’m planning to order some more for sure!

I just recently finished a bottle of this and agree with all the above. I found it delicious and delightful. I love the pickled habanero approach.
I have a bottle of their hot honey and find it much better than Mike’s Hot Honey but it is very different. Unlike Mike’s, it’s not simply honey steeped in peppers. The ingredients are: raw honey, vinegar, habaneros, water, sugar, garlic, salt, pepper, and spices. The kids are scared to try it because of the black pepper flakes they see floating in it. It has the consistency of hot sauce rather than honey. I find it delicious on pizza and chicken.
Craig’s also has a powdered seasoning called Cheesy Pow-Pow which is the best all-around seasoning I’ve had. It’s a cheese based seasoning powder with a little kick that pairs with nearly anything: cottage cheese, corn, popcorn, veggies (cooked or raw), pasta, pizza, chicken, etc.

Mn native, while not a ‘hot’ sauce, this an excellent sauce yo complement most foods. I would throw this in a ‘pourable’ category, I simply cannot use enough of it

if you get an any colony you may consider training them to gather food for you and then you will be able to experience this trophallaxis first hand

Had a Bloody Mary at the MSP airport and they loaded it up with this stuff. Basically felt like I was drinking hot sauce. It was great

One of my favorites – I just wish it was a bit more viscous.

I buy this stuff by the case. You saying obituary in the title made me scared he’s gone out of business. The pickled habanero is so good
