Has anyone used this for smash burgers on a 22” kettle?

  1. No but that would work 100% as long as it fits.

Smash burgers / griddle – not much rocket science in it other than thickness. Lodge will be fine or any cast iron pan.

I’d spend the extra money and buy the SNS cast iron Drip N Griddle pan. It looks like it’s $45 on Amazon right now. I bought one and love it. So far, I’ve used it for smash burgers, and it’s wonderful. I’d make sure you have a good understanding of cast iron and how to maintain the seasoning. I cooked the smash burgers outside, and it made my wife happy and my neighbors jealous.

I got a carbon steel griddle that replaces the grate in my grill and that thing works amazing. You get a lot of surface area and it heats up to temp a lot faster than cast iron will. I had a griddle like that I used and I was not happy with what it limited me too. I make breakfast on the charcoal grill a lot now and have a ton of options I didn’t with the cast iron griddle.

  4. Inhave one that lives on my grill. I like it allot.

Ps, that empty corner is NOT a drip edge. Its just a loop to hang it. If you make allot of burgers, youll have to remove the grease as you go.

As others mentioned, not that exact one but I do have a Lodge griddle I use on my grill and yes, it works great!
